Sled dogs race all day and night in extreme conditions: temperatures can fall to minus 40 degrees!
They race for a few hours, then they have a rest. Then they go again!. When they stop, the musher takes care of the dogs first. The dogs eat, then they sleep for two hours. There is on long stop for 36 hours, halfway trough the race.
